A stunning floral brooch in 18k yellow gold, the broad five-petal blossom face mystery-set with calibré-cut blue sapphires in a continuous invisible-set. As a result, there is no prong interruption giving a consistent blue from gold edge to gold edge. This type of work can only be done by meticulous effort, essentially carving each stone into one another, weaving them together. With this method, there is no prongs and a flush face of solid gemstones.
Regarding the diamonds, at the center sits a seven-stone diamond cluster of round brilliants prong-set in yellow gold. The down-turned stem and two leaves are worked in 18k yellow gold and pavé-set with round brilliants plus channel-set baguettes that taper through the leaves, equally displaying the intension and detail into the piece to make it look as realistic as possible through the use of gemstones.
