At the top, the stud is a flat round disc engraved BVLGARI BVLGARI running the full circumference like lettering on a coin, with a single round brilliant diamond bezel set dead center, so the disc reads almost like a tiny medallion with the diamond standing in for a face. From the disc, a strand of fine cable chain drops several centimeters to the earring's centerpiece, the B.zero1 spiral. Rather than the familiar ring form, it's rendered here as a short cylinder, three or four ribbed gold bands stacked edge to edge, identifies the B.zero1 design language at a glance. Below that cylinder, the chain splits again into three finer strands of uneven length, each ending in a small BVLGARI BVLGARI engraved ring charm, like tiny flattened donuts. These charms are graduated in size and hang at slightly different heights, so they layer and overlap rather than lining up, giving the bottom of the earring a loose, tassel-like movement instead of a stiff finish.
As a whole, the earring works because it plays two Bulgari signatures against each other and lets negative space do the rest. The B.zero1 spiral is the house's most disciplined, architectural motif, all ribbed bands, and here it's suspended mid-drop rather than worn as a solid ring, so the eye reads it as a small sculptural pause. Above it, a single diamond gives a quiet point of light at the ear; below it, the loose fringe of logo charms breaks the symmetry and adds motion, so the piece never feels static even though every element is a recognizable Bvlgari shape. On the back of the lowest disc it has stamps: AU750, (STAR) 3696 AL, 750, Made in Italy. On the backings, it is stamped BVLGARI, 750, Made in Italy.
