A vintage limited-edition necklace and bracelet suite by Van Cleef & Arpels, crafted in 18k yellow gold and dated from the 1960s–1970s. Both pieces are built from cushion-shaped links, each bezel-set with a panel of iridescent white mother-of-pearl framed in polished gold. At intervals, diamond stations punctuate the design, gold links pavé-set with round brilliant-cut diamonds in clusters of four, adding bright sparkle against the soft, shifting glow of the shell. Two types of optical effects in one piece, fire or brilliance of the diamonds, and iridescence from the mother of pearl.
As a coordinated set, the necklace and matching bracelet offer a refined, luminous look that moves easily from day to evening. There are plenty of stamps on each of the pieces, with an eagle, VCA, 750, and serial number (B2629P6 and BL6550).
