A modernist lily pad ring crafted in 18k gold, designed as two overlapping lily-pad forms that fold over one another in a soft, organic sweep across the finger. The upper pad is finished in a textured, lightly brushed satin surface that catches the light gently, while the lower pad is left smooth and polished, more reflective of light. The two finishes playing against each other give the piece depth and movement, beautifully distorting the light, made possible since each lily pad is not perfectly aligned on top of one another. The naturalistic, sculptural design is refined, utilizing warmth of the gold do the heavy lifting. It is stamped 750 twice inside of the band.
