A vintage ca. 1925 Art Deco diamond and emerald bracelet in platinum, the strap built as a series of articulated openwork panels densely pavé set with round brilliant and old European cut diamonds, totaling approximately 11.30 carats. Three marquise diamonds anchor the design, each approximately 1.40 carats and graded H color, VS1 clarity, the principal marquise set transversely at the center within a navette-shaped border of calibré-cut emeralds that frames it in a band of green. Two square-cut diamonds, each approximately 0.70 carats and also H VS1, punctuate the strap between panels in their own emerald-flanked stations, and further calibré emeralds, totaling roughly 1.20 carats, accent the geometry along the band. The combination of platinum, brilliant white diamonds, and the crisp green emerald outlines gives the bracelet the precise, architectural symmetry of the period.
This is a textbook Art Deco bracelet: the all-platinum, all-over diamond pavé reads as one continuous ribbon of light, and the geometric openwork keeps something so densely set looking delicate rather than heavy. What makes it sing is the restraint of color, just the slim emerald navette around the central marquise and the small green stations down the strap, so the cool green punctuates the white diamonds at exactly the right intervals and pulls your eye straight to the marquise centers.
